The FITS images are selected for best seeing from several taken at Mt. Lemmon near Tucson, Arizona, over a few minutes ending at for the Sloan r' image 2023-10-22 03:24:41 Mountain Standard Time 2023-10-23T10:24:41 UTC Telescope: ULMT 0.6 meter Ritchie-Chretien Camera: ZWO ASI 16200 9576x6388 pixels Scale: 0.16 arcsec/pixel Resolution: ~0.2 arcsec Exposure: 100 milliseconds Filters: Sloan i', r', and g' The FITS images are raw data that were processed in AstroImageJ to produce the color composite images in PNG and JPG formats. Color maps i' to red, r' to green, g' to blue emphasizing the near infrared as red. These images are shown with north up and west to the right. The satellites are visible in order from east to west: Callisto out of the field of the detailed images Europa Io Ganymede (by itself on the west side) Two gray-scale images in JPG format were produced with SAOImage ds9 from the g' FITS data to show the detail around the Great Red Spot that is lost in the color composite because the image quality of the other filters is not as good as this one. ASINH mapping alters the gray scale to widen the dynamic range of the display.
