2023-11-11 ========== The FITS images are selected for best seeing from 10 in each filter taken at Mt. Lemmon near Tucson, Arizona. Telescope: ULMT 0.6 meter Ritchie-Chretien Camera: ZWO ASI 16200 9576x6388 pixels Scale: 0.16 arcsec/pixel Resolution: ~0.2 arcsec Exposure: 200 milliseconds Filters: Sloan i', r', and g' Date of observation: 2023-11-12T06:05:07.887 for RP image 13. The dates are in the FITS headers. The FITS images are raw data that were processed in AstroImageJ to produce the color composite images in PNG and JPG formats. Color maps i' to red, r' to green, g' to blue emphasizing the near infrared as red. These images are shown with north up and west to the right. The satellites are visible in order from east to west: Callisto (east of Jupiter) Io on disk east of the Great Red Spot and its shadow Europa (west of Jupiter) Ganymede The color image is a composite created with AstroImageJ where the Sloan i' is red, the r' is green, and the g' is blue. The original FITS images were cropped to a nominal 800x800 pixel frame, aligned in AstroImageJ, processed with a 3-pixel unsharp mask, and stacked to produce the color image. The log image shows the positions of the satellites, and the other images show the disk and Io.
