The files in this directory are necessary for running SBIG USB cameras with
XmCCD.  

The library libusbdrv.so is used by xmccd1 and ccd to communicate with the
camera.  The version in this directory is the most recent one released by SBIG
at the time this version of xmccd was developed.  

The .hex files are firmware that the system must upload to the camera whenever
the camera is connected and powered on.  The transfer is handled by
/sbin/fxload.  In Suse 12.3 fxload is not installed by default, but it is
available as a post-installation software option. 

The file 96-sbig.rules has the USB device specifications appropriate for the
version of libusb installed with OpenSuse 12.2 or later.  Earlier versions may
require 96-sbig_old.rules.  

The script install_sbig will copy files from this directory to the appropriate
target directories for 64-bit linux.   It will install 51-sbig.rules by default.
