The programs in this directory allow control of the focuser on the "Celestron" C20's at Moore and Mt. Kent Observatory. These telescopes are prototypes of the Planewave CDK20, and their focusers are very similar to the production "Hedrick" focuser provided on the CDK's from Planewave. If you are using a Planewave telescope, the version for the CDK125 is recommended and should work for any production Planewave instrument with an EFA. In the case of the C20, the focuser is controlled through the interface to the mount, which is a heavier version prototype of the CGE Pro. However, as long as the serial port is not being used by the telescope controller, in Linux the two programs can "share" the port because they use the same configuration and command structure. It is still advisable not to issue a focuser command while interacting with mount positioning in xmtel for the C20. We have not implemented a lock file and commands could get corrupted.
